Siri Lill Mannes

Siri Lill Mannes is the CEO of SpeakLab and course instructor. She is one of our most experienced moderators, in English and Norwegian.

Siri Lill started working in the Norwegian news channel TV2 in 1992, spending the first years as a news reporter abroad. Her greatest professional experience was meeting Nelson Mandela the day he won the presidential election in 1994. From 1999 she was a news anchor on TV2, until she resigned in 2010 and founded SpeakLab with Arne Møller.

She was nominated as best female news anchor in 2007 at Gullruten - an annual Norwegian award in the TV industry.

Siri Lill also studied Russian and history at the University of Bergen. She has published two books. The first book (2003) was about the war in Chechnya, based on personal accounts from Aleksandr - a former spetsnaz operator and bodyguard during the war. Her second book was released in 2010 and was a fictional thriller.
